Project cost/budget:

Project description:
Commissioned by the City of Salisbury, Thomson Rossi completed the design and delivery of the new Para Hills Community Centre.

As an adjunct to the existing community library and Positive Aging Centre, the proposed extension design creates an entirely new holistic community centre to serve the rapidly changing demographic of the wider City of Salisbury catchment area.

This centre acts as a hub for community involvement which is achieved through inclusive and inventive design from inside out. Utilising a period of extensive community consultation, our team developed an innovative concept to explore a high degree of flexibility. Key areas of design investigation included research on demand, information technology, population treads and education roles.
