As an adjunct to the existing Community Library and Positive Aging Centre, the new Community Hub extension creates an entirely new holistic engagement centre to serve the rapidly changing demographic of the wider City of Salisbury catchment area. This Centre now acts as a hub for community involvement which is achieved through inclusive and inventive design from the inside out. Utilising a period of extensive community consultation, our team developed an innovative concept to explore a high degree of flexibility. Key areas of design investigation included research on demand, information technology, population trends and education roles.
