Project description:
In early 2009 Thomson Rossi were commissioned to prepare a ‘Facility Plan’ for BDO accountants to establish current and projected space requirements, identify effective adjacencies for the Business Units and establish accommodation standards that would position BDO as an efficient, collaborative and competitive organisation into the future.

As a result of this process, Thomson Rossi were appointed Architects and Interior Designers for the fit out of approximately 1800m2 over 3 floors. Key elements of the successful design include the provision of offices to suit BDO’s business model while still allowing equitable access to daylight and views for open workspace employees, the establishment of a dedicated ‘Client Area’ and the creation of a centrally located Staff “Collaborative Hub” to encourage informal work practices and team work.
